Day care Centres

The city of Loimaa has eight municipal day-care centres, one of which is a day-care centre. In addition, the city buys day care services from private providers, the Nappulapello and Nappulakoski day care centres and Touhula Alastaro.

The application for all kindergartens is done centrally through the city’s day care service.

Family day care in the carer’s home
The City of Loimaa now employs 11 professional and enthusiastic family day care workers. Family day care is provided by Miia Nummila, an early childhood education supervisor.

Family day care is home-like, high-quality early childhood education, where the educational environment is the child’s own home and its immediate surroundings. Regional family day care small groups organise activities for children, as well as parents’ evenings and other events.

In Loimaa family day care, respect for others, safety, closeness, care and child-centredness are important.

Nursery school menus

Nutritious and tasty meals for the day-care centres are prepared in two different branches of the catering service. The food service customers are nurseries and schools.
