The aim of cultural services is to promote the practice and enjoyment of the arts, for example by providing facilities and financial support to cultural communities, organising art exhibitions and cultural events, and collecting and preserving the local cultural heritage.

Senior Card – Culture and sport on one card

The Culture and Sports Services Senior Card for people over 65 and on disability pension in Lomaa. The card encourages older people to take advantage of cultural activities and to engage in physical activity on their own initiative. The card can be obtained from the Vesihovi.

The card entitles you to access once a day:

• Art House / Loimaan Taidetalo and Alpo Jaakola Statue Park during museum opening hours (not including events).
• Hirvihovi fitness and gymnastics halls
• Virkistysuimala Vesihovi, swimming pool
