Heimolinna Hall

Heimolinna was completed in 1925 as the house of the Protectorate. It was designed by Mauri Vilhelm Knuutila, a master builder from Loimaa. The architecture in the 1920s is typical and conventional classicism. At the time The Heimolinna was a grand building on the scale of Loimaa, and as a guardianship house it was one of the most imposing in the area.

After the Second World War, the abolition of the Guards the Heimolinna was transferred to the Association for the Support of the Common School and to the Loimaa municipality in 1967.

In the decades after the war, the building has been used for, among other things. cinema and for many years as a fast-food restaurant.

Concert and Banqueting Hall

Today, Heimolinna serves as a concert and banqueting hall, which can be booked for various events. The festive space is located in the city centre, at the corner of Central Park.

The maximum capacity of the room is 500 people, but with chairs the hall can accommodate around 220 people. The hall is accessible and equipped with an induction loop. Sound and video recording equipment is available for use by customers, as is the on-stage grand piano.

Cafeteria and meeting room

The upstairs café can be booked separately on weekdays from Monday to Thursday for an hourly fee only. It works well for example as a meeting and conference room for about 40 people. It has all the equipment needed to serve coffee and a video projector for presentations.
