In the online library, you can search for and reserve material, renew loans and check your own information. To log in to the online library, you need an ID number, which you can get by visiting your nearest library.

If you have forgotten your PIN, you can get a new one from the library. Passwords are not given by phone or e-mail.

The online library is shared with all Loisto libraries. The Online Library is the place to go to find out what’s happening in all the Loisto libraries, as well as what’s new, what’s new, what’s borrowed and what’s in stock.

The online library also provides information on other materials that can be borrowed, such as energy meters and exercise equipment. Note! Some materials can only be borrowed from the library that owns the material and will not be sent elsewhere. Ask your library for more information.

You can use the online library without logging in

• browse the database
• check whether the work is on the shelf or on loan
• check the number of reservations
• store the data on the shelf for the duration of the session

By logging in with your library card ID (e.g. 888C123456) and the ID number in the online library, you can.

• check your own loans, reservations and payments
• new loans, if there are no provisions for them
• reserve material and cancel your own reservations
• change your own information
• write reviews of books, films or records and tell others about them
• permanently store data on your own shelf
• change the pin code of your library card yourself
