Libraries have a wide range of things to borrow, read, watch, listen to and play, including books, films, music, sheet music, maps, magazines, audio books, e-books and e-books.

If you find it difficult to read a normal book, you can try a clear book, a large-text book or an audio book. Audio books are available in our own collection on CD and MP3 and are also available in the Loisto Libraries’ e-Library. In spring 2024, a joint municipal e-library was opened, which is available to Loima residents. The e-library is an application that can be downloaded to a phone or tablet.

The library also has sheet music and music, console and board games and films. The main library also has LPs. You can also borrow energy consumption meters, an infrared thermometer, senior cards and season tickets for home matches of Lomaa league teams.

The latest newspapers and magazines are available in the library’s newsroom, and magazines can also be borrowed.
