Music studies

In basic and advanced music studies, the curriculum is followed. In the basic studies, you learn the basic skills of your own instrument, expression and perception. In addition to lessons in playing or singing, the course includes lessons in ensemble music-making and music fundamentals. On completion of the course, students receive a certificate and can progress to further studies.

Advanced studies are designed to broaden or deepen knowledge in the areas of music that interest the student most.

At different stages of your studies, you can demonstrate your skills in a variety of situations and occasions. Practical musical skills are essential, not test performances.

In addition to solid playing and singing skills, students will develop strong performance skills and the ability to make music with others. In addition to listening skills to perceive music, write and create music themselves.

In addition to musical skills, music studies develop learning-to-learn skills, perseverance and the ability to work with others.
