Various clubs and associations, groups and individuals can book regular or occasional sessions at both indoor and outdoor sports facilities from Loimaa’s sports services.

Search for standard indoor sports facilities

The standard winter season (August-May) for all indoor sports facilities in the city of Loimaa is open for applications until 24.5. The deadline for applying for standard slots in the various indoor sports facilities is via the online application form.

In the additional information section of the application, you must specify the following: name of the training group, sport, age group, size of the group, level (if known) for teams in series and, in the case of over-19s, whether the sport is organised by a sports federation.

The reservation must always be made in writing and all the necessary fields must be filled in the electronic form, including the association’s business ID or registration number. If the applicant does not have a business ID, the personal identification number of the group contact person or the person making the reservation must be entered on the application form.

On the basis of the applications submitted, a proposal for the allocation of shifts for the coming season will be made. The Head of Sports Services decides on the allocation of sports halls and the headmasters on the allocation of school halls. Free places can also be booked in the middle of the season.

Call for standard indoor sports facilities for the summer season

The standard summer opening times for indoor sports facilities (June-July) are allocated by the Head of Sports Services during May. They can be applied for until the end of April.

The use of the premises is subject to a fee in accordance with the price list established by the Education Committee.

Indoor sports facilities available for booking include:

• Sports halls
• school halls: HYK, Kauhanoja, Keskuskoulu, Kirkonkylä, , Niinijoki, Puistokatu school,
• Kojonkulma multifunctional facility Ahjo, City Hall gym, Metsämaa Kalliohovi, Virttaa gym

Temporary use of indoor sports facilities

For sports halls, temporary, individual shifts are booked through the Sports Services Manager. Applications are made using the online application form for indoor sports facilities.

For school premises, temporary shifts are booked directly with the schools, using the online form on the school website. Contact details for schools can be found on the Schools page.

Reservation of outdoor sports facilities

Applications for summer use of outdoor sports facilities will be open in April. You can apply using the online application form for outdoor sports facilities.

The use of the pitches is subject to a fee in accordance with the price list set by the Education Committee.

Outdoor sports facilities available for booking include:

• Hirvihovi sports field and running tracks, beach volleyball and tennis courts
• Sports centre with artificial grass pitch, baseball stadium, tennis courts, beach volleyball court and sand training pitch
• Alastaro sports field

Shift cancellations

Unused shifts must be cancelled well in advance, at least 3 days before the shift. Unused uncancelled flights will be charged at the normal booking rate. Cancellations and changes only in writing to: liikunta@loimaa.fi

There is no charge for cancelled services.
