Varha will inform on 29.4.2024:
Changes to the opening hours of TYKS Acute Care

The Tyks Acute Emergency Departments in Loimaa and Uusikaupunki will be open from 2.5.2024 daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Emergency care is available from the Tyks Acute Care Unit – emergency care is defined as sudden illness, injury, worsening of a long-term illness or loss of function that requires immediate assessment and treatment.

Your own health centre is the primary place of care in case of illness. The emergency reception at the health centres is open from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, so call before you go.

Always call 116 117 before going to the emergency room or use the Omaolo symptom assessments to assess what kind of care you need.

For under 16s, the first place to call is your health centre during their opening hours. Otherwise, for on-call matters, call 02 313 1420.

In an emergency, call 112
