The City of Loimaa Employment Services offer support for job search. Here are some options to help you find a job.

Wage subsidies

If you have been unemployed for a longer period, you may be entitled to a wage subsidy. A wage subsidy is a payment made to the employer that significantly reduces the costs incurred by the worker. Paid work is available as part of the city’s employment activities for people who have been unemployed for a longer period of time.

Work trial

A work trial is a risk-free way to learn about a new profession or to get back to work, for example after rehabilitation. As a rule, a work trial takes place in a company or association, usually 5 days a week for 6-8 hours a day. The duration of a work trial can be as short as 4 weeks and as long as 6 months. You are entitled to an expense allowance of €9 per day of participation for the duration of the work experience.

Job coaching

Work coaching helps you find the right pathway to work or training. The work/individual coach will also help you with your Kela rehabilitation application if you have a reduced capacity to work.

Health check for the unemployed

As an unemployed jobseeker, you are entitled to a health check for the unemployed. If necessary, the nurse will write a referral to a doctor.

Ask for more information about the possibility from the TE Office or the Southwest Finland Welfare Region.
