Welcome to the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi!

Kalikka is a camping and recreation area in the city of Loimaa, where you can swim, sauna, play games and barbecue. The area and its buildings can be reserved for meetings, camps or recreation.

The shallow sandy beach is child-friendly and the large beach sauna can accommodate several saunas at once. There are separate changing rooms and showers for men and women. The lake also offers good fishing opportunities.

There is also a sand-based volleyball court, which provides a good setting for playing volleyball and other games. The large grassy area can accommodate a wide range of activities.

The City of Loimaa and the Municipality of Pöytya will continue to share recreational areas on alternate days, giving residents the opportunity to recreate on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi throughout the summer. The areas are almost adjacent to each other on the same stretch of shore.

Pyhäjärvi, on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi, highway 204 from Yleinei about 4 km towards Säkylä, where there is a signpost to the left at the roadside.

Kalika reservations

A change has been made to the application for the use of the Loimaan Kalikka maintenance building and a continuous application is now available. The maintenance building can be reserved for the period 1.5.-30.8.2024.

Kalikka in summer 2024

The swimming beach, lakeside sauna and barbecue areas are available to residents in the recreation areas of Loimaa and Pöytyä during the period 1.6.-31.8. from 12:00 to 21:00 as follows:

• On odd-numbered weeks, residents can use Loimaan Kalikka
• On even-numbered weeks, residents can use Pöytyän Kalikka, which is available to the public throughout the summer.
• Pöytyän Kalikka is open during the Midsummer week

In Loimaan Kalikka, there may be simultaneous reservation and/or camping activities.
