Youth facilities

Application for the use of youth facilities for the period 2024-25
The application for permanent shifts concerns the following facilities:Citynuokkari, Hirvikoski Youth Centre, Mellilä Youth Centre and Alastaro Youth Centre. The application is for both daytime and evening shifts.
In addition to the use of the youth facilities by the youth services themselves, the slots will be allocated primarily to youth work organisations and youth groups.

Camping and recreation area Kalikka

Kalikka is a camping and recreation area in the city of Loimaa, where you can swim, sauna, play games and barbecue. The shallow sandy beach is child-friendly and the large lakeside sauna can accommodate several saunas at the same time. The lake also offers good fishing opportunities. The area and its buildings can be reserved for meetings, camps or recreational use.

The summer camping season at Kalikka will be open for applications at the beginning of March.

Heimolinna Concert and Banquet Hall

Heimolinna is a concert and banqueting hall that can be booked for various events. The festive space for 200 people is located in the city centre, at the corner of the Central Park. For more information about the space, prices and booking, visit the cultural services’ Heimolinna page.

Lake Melliläjärvi lakeside sauna and fireplace room

Melliläjärvi lakeside sauna and fireplace cottage is located in its own private setting on the shores of a clear-water artificial lake in Mellilä. You can rent either the lakeside sauna or the fireplace room separately or both together. The place is ideal for small family celebrations or workplace tyhy-day recreation, for example.

Indoor and outdoor sports facilities

Various clubs and associations, groups and individuals, mainly from Loimaa, can book regular or occasional sessions at both indoor and outdoor sports facilities from the Loimaa sports services.

Reservations are made on the forms available on the sports website and are submitted to the sports services electronically or in writing by the annual deadline for standard shifts.

Hubi Loimaa

Companies, associations and other actors can book the hub for meetings and workshops. It is possible to reserve a classroom or a whole room. The use of Hubi Loimaa is free of charge. For more information on how to book Hubi Loimaa , visit the Hubi Loimaa page.

Elers Room in the Main Library

The Elers room can be booked as a meeting room for groups. The room can accommodate about 20 people. The room is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. The room is equipped with a projector, screen, speakers and wireless internet access. A chalk and whiteboard are also available. There is a water point and a coffee and water machine. The room is only available during library opening hours. There is no charge for using the room.

Mellilä Library meeting room

The meeting room can be reserved for groups. The room can accommodate about 15 people. The room is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. The room has wireless internet access and coffee making facilities. There is no charge for using the room.

Meeri Hall of the Art House

Meeri Hall can be booked as a meeting room for clubs, associations and other groups. The room seats about sixty people. The hall has a screen and video projector.
