In Loimaa, we grow together for 2020

The mission of the City of Loimaa is to promote the well-being of our residents and the vitality of our region.

Loimaa’s location and accessibility in the growth triangle of Southern Finland are our strengths. Our diverse business and economic structure and local technological expertise offer us many opportunities. Engineering, metals, trade and services are the most important sectors. Agriculture also plays a prominent role in Loimaa.

In the “Growing together – growing with us in Loimaa” strategy, we have set out the guidelines for the 2020s. We have reflected on our choices and anticipated where we are heading and where we will find new seeds and roots for the coming years.

We want to be known for community, enterprise, working together and smooth service. We encourage our residents to get involved and take courageous action to shape our shared future. We want to take care of each other so that Loimaa can do well.

We must continue to build on our strengths and innovate our services to meet changing needs. We need skilled people, growth-oriented businesses, new ideas and a strong common will, as well as a bold and positive forward-looking atmosphere. This is how we strengthen our economic fabric, support our businesses and promote the well-being of our citizens. This is how we will grow together in the 2020s.
